Jubilee Mill This is our Factory, based across two floors we occupy an old textile mill building, (photographed from the old lade which is now filled in).

We maintain a full sculpting schedule, taking on new commissions, producing our in-house work and updating our older sculptures to keep them current

Sculpting
Casting and Mouldmaking The sculptures are moulded and cast in our casting department. This is a busy part of the business and required good planning to make sure the products are prioritised correctly for our stock and to match customer orders.

From casting the pieces are brought through to Fettling where we carefully finish, fill and assemble. Some parts are also cast in pewter, (fine detail sections) which we have to add individually. It takes about three years to become familiar with our full product range.

Fettling
Painting Some of our products are hand painted and we do this using a combination of air brushing and hand painting to achieve the deired effect. This is Angela who has worked for the busines for many years and is one of our skilled painters.

After fettling each product is carefully polished, or buffed and then lacquered ready for final assembly. We mount the figurines onto their own bases, (this is when we add the engraved plates) before putting them through for packing.Assembly
Engraving We run a fully professional engraving service using the same quality principles as we adopt for our sculpture. Orders are carefully made up, masked off, engraved, finished and polished ready to be laid out for despatch. This is our newly fitted out engraving unit.
This is the despatch area just after the collection of the day has been made. We individually pack all our products in a method that aims to make sure that they can travel all over the world without mishap. This is a tall order as the range of items we make varies from large eagles to small glasses, all of which can be easily broken in the post. We generally send most of our orders out in a couple of days, however, where we are making up a quantity of customer related commissions this can take a little longer.Despatch
