When deciding what to write for this figurine - I found this poem by Geoff Abbott, a Yeoman Warder himself; I think it just says it all :
'If there would be a sight for all to look upon'
And say "This then is Britain"
For sensibility's sake let there be chosen
A Yeoman Warder
Set him to stand athwart our heritage
For none is more proud of it
Approve his service
For none is more honourable
Place him in cloth of scarlet well adorned with gold
And ye shall in him our very nation thus behold'
