We are commemorating the 100th Anniversary of World War One with a collection of our finest military sculptures and we are numbering the first 100 early production editions. This the third sculpture in the collection and it depicts a Scottish Highland Infantryman of the British Army during the early stages of the Great War. We're calling him 'Old Jock' and are sculpting him to be part of the 1/1 Highland Division during the Division's move to France in April/ May 1915. On the 11th May 1915 the 1/1 Highland Division was officially titled the 51st Highland Division.
This sculpture is finished in cold cast bronze resin in a 'Victoria Cross' colour, similar to the colour of all the commonwealth war memorials you see in most British Towns and Villages.
Please remember that we offer a free engraved plate and therefore you may like to remember a family member who served in the trenches nearly 100 years ago.
