Product Description

The Scots Guards were raised in 1642 as King Charles Ist's personal bodyguard. The regiment fought with the royalists, and after the battle of Worcester in 1651 when Charles was beaten the regiment was disbanded. In 1660 following the restoration of the monarch the regiment was reformed as the Scottish Regiment of Foot Guards. The Scots Guards wear no plumes on their bearskins and tunic buttons are in set of three.

We will supply this figurine on a thin 'Collectors' base as standard. If you would like us to mount it on a deeper 'Presentation' style base please choose the option below.
