Royal Marine Units rotated through Northern Ireland throughout the 'Troubles' and this sculpture depicts a Royal Marine Commando on foot patrol during the height of the violence. He is dressed in the issue NI uniform and wears a flak jacket. He carries an SLR rilfe.
