As you can see from the picture the 'Jaws of Life' is the nickname given by firemen to their cutting tool which is designed to release accident victims from their vehicles. The tool works at high speed using compressed air, which over the years, have saved thousands of lives.

This is the version we make for firefighters from Southern Ireland and they are used as farewell and/or retirement gifts. The base shown is the Presentation Base with an engraved brass plate. This item was given to a firefighter from Limerick Fire Brigade.
