Product Description

The Irish Guards were raised in 1900 at the personal request of Queen Victoria. Her esteem for the fighting qualities of her Irish subjects was such that she wanted to have a regiment of Irish Foot Guards within the Household Division. The Irish Guards wear a St Patrick's blue plume on the on the right side of the bearskins and tunic buttons are grouped in fours.
