Cock Pheasant, Tail Up, Bronze B807

The Cock Pheasant is a regular sight in the British countryside and this sculpture depicts a beautiful male bird with its tail up. The sculpture stands 21" tall, 11" long and 8" wide, and for visual reference we've placed a bottle of Bombay Sapphire gin in picture 4. It is sold complete with the base you can see, which can, if required, accept and engraved brass plate. The bird is packaged in soft foam and then into a dark blue gift box.

A large, long-tailed gamebird. Males have rich chestnut, golden-brown and black markings on body and tail, with a dark green head and red face wattling. Females are mottled with paler brown and black. They were introduced to the UK long ago and more recent introductions have brought in a variety of races and breeds for sport shooting.
