Product Description

Captian Alexander Cameron, has been described as,"an undaunted soldier,skilful leader whom all soldiers love to follow". He joined the 95th in style, raising a company of highlanders with pipers before marching south to join the Experimental Corps of Riflemen in 1800.
In 1808 the 1st/95th were tasked with providing Sir John Moore's Rear-guard during the dreadful retreat to Corunna. Cameron, by now a veteran held his starving troops together, fighting off the French, buying time for the British embarkation.
Cameron's last major commend was of the 1/95 at Waterloo where he was severely wounded. The
sculpture depicts Cameron during the retreat to Corunna and is the 200th Anniversary piece of the Rifle Brigade. It is a limited edition.
